Ladies’ Night and Ahoy the 7 Seas! @ Arrow Camp

So we (Arrow students) just came back from “Hitting the Mark” Camp 2008, and boy did we have an awesome time!It was such a glorious time with a lot of solid, rich food (spiritual of course!), fantastic fellowship, and the loving powerful presence of Daddy God.

Pastor Benjamin preached mostly about the Benjamin Generation. For something written more than 2000 years ago, it has such a strong reflection of our generation, what we can become and what we are seeing. If you didn’t come for camp, ask your friends to share with you yeah…

Before camp, Pauline (Pastor’s wife) had told the girls to bring a nice blouse for our women’s meeting. Being one of those who just wore a nice top, my jaw dropped as girls starting filling up the dining area. They were all so dressed up and gorgeous! It felt like I had stepped into prom!

It’s amazing when a girl feels beautiful how her countenance and mannerisms change. When we know we are beautiful regardless of what we wear, we can’t help but carry ourselves with grace and dignity. Girls, we are all beautiful in Daddy God’s eyes! He loves you and you are glorious and beautiful to Him!

Being at a resort, I liked Cherri and Nicole’s gorgeous summery dresses, very pretty! I like how Shavonne, being the spunky unconventional type, brought out her personality through her dressing.

The NUS cluster came united. Although the guys didn’t have a dress code that night (some guys came in singlets and shorts!), I thought it was really nice of them to come slightly more dressed up in white shirts and khakis. The girls came in black dresses with their make-up and hair done. One girl, in particular, really stood out in the crowd!

Look at all that attention man! I really love Selene. She’s very unassuming, very real and very funny. Whenever she wears dresses, she gets so much attention; I think that’s why she’s always in tee-shirt and jeans. Although she had minimal make-up on and her hair was, well, normal, she was so attractive and had such beauty to her.
