Hi all!
Ever found yourself in a desperate situation where you really needed to
believe that Abba will come through for you but somehow just couldn’t
find the FAITH?
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails
anything, but faith working THROUGH LOVE.” -Galatians 5:6
Here, in the Greek, ‘working’ actually means ‘activates, energises and
reassures’.
“And God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” (Rom 12:3) Whether you
feel it at the moment or not, you HAVE faith.
So how is that God-given faith activated - by knowing that God loves
you.
“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.” - 1 John
3:16
The answer therefore, is JESUS.
In love, Jesus took all our sins, even that of not having enough faith.
When you meditate on that overwhelming love, faith WILL be energised!

Last night I just watched the movie “Amazing Grace.” It’s an awesome movie! If you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet you should!
One quote in the movie by John Newton, the author of the song Amazing Grace, that I loved was this:
“Although my memory’s fading, I remember two things very clearly. I’m a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.”

Was just meditating on John 3:16 this morning…

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
As I was reading it, it occurred to me how often I’ve read this verse, and usually I just think of the fact that God so loved the WORLD…and I tend to just generalize and think of the WORLD out there…and all of the other people in the WORLD…but as I was reading it this morning, it was like the Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me that the WORLD includes me too…and instead of reading just the world, I personalized and put my name in there.
For God so loved “Joe”…and He loves YOU!
